Sissi , or Elisabeth of Austria was born in 24 December 1837 and die in 10 September 1898.
She was the wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress of Austria Thus and Queen of Hungary . In the June 8, 1867, along with her husband, Sissi was crowned Queen of Hungary following the signing of the Austro-Hungarian compromise.
Sissi suffered from depression because of her unhappy marriage and strict life in the Austrian court.
In 1860, she left Vienna after contracting a lung disease, which was presumably psychosomatic.
Spent the winter on the island of Madeira. Returned to visit the island of Madeira.
Was known not only for beauty but also for his taste in fashion, diets and exercise, passion for riding and several lovers.
At 1.72 m, Sissi was unusually tall . She was taller than her husband .

 O seu corpo está enterrado no Royal Cripta da Igreja dos Capuchinhos Habsburgos, em Viena, ao lado de seu filho e do seu marido.
