uma fotografia com muitos lugares



Esta fotografia mostra lugares da cidade. Em primeiro plano, onde podemos ver muitos mastros, temos a Marina do Funchal. Ao seu lado, sobressai o extremo do cais da cidade, que é visitável e que divide duas marinas.
O grande telhado que está atrás do cais e de parte da marina é o Palácio de São Lourenço.
Onde toca a ponta do mastro maior da fotografia encontramos um antigo hotel, que hoje pertence à Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Funchal. Ali funciona um lar de idosos e os serviços de estatísticas do Governo. Duas vertentes que não ligam.
A torre que "entra" por este edifício dentro é da igreja de São Pedro.
Um pouco mais à esquerda, onde se vê outra torre, é da igreja do Convento de Santa Clara. Muito junto a este núcleo temos a casa do Museu Quinta das Cruzes, com as frondosas árvores que pincelam o seu bonito jardim.
Ainda por cima do edifício da Santa Casa temos um hotel que é uma relíquia o Monte Carlo.

Está localizada à direita da igreja de São Pedro.

   This photograph was taken inside the São Pedro (St. Peter) church. The construction began in 1590, but would only be completed in the eighteenth century. The church interior is decorated with tiles of the seventeenth century, paintings, jewelery and furniture from the XVII, XVIII, XIX and XX are also an integral part of the overall decor. If you go there, you need to have a particular attention to the tower of this church, covered with tiles, as with other church of Santa Clara, about 300 meters.

   Esta fotografia foi obtida no interior da igreja de São Pedro. Começou a ser construída em 1590, mas só ficaria concluída no século XVIII. O interior da igreja é decorada com azulejos do século XVII,pinturas, ourivesaria e mobiliário dos séculos XVII, XVIII, XIX e XX são igualmente parte integrante da decoração geral. Chamo a atenção particular para a torre desta igreja, coberto de azulejos, tal como acontece com outra da igreja de Santa Clara, a cerca de 300 metros.

A window with a view to the sea where a cruise ship is a maneuver to enter to the port. In this photo we can still see the church of St. Peter of the sixteenth century. Has undergone renovations over the centuries XVII and XVIII. Among its architectural value can reveal all the tiles from the XVII and XVIII.
