trees with the colors of the city



Estas árvores estão situadas no passeio central da Avenida Arriaga. Podemos ver flores púrpuras e amarelas, mais atrás. Juntas constituem a bandeira da cidade do Funchal, e foi precisamente com esse intuito que foram plantadas.

These trees are located on the central sidewalk of Arriaga Avenue. We can see purple and yellow flowers, further back. Together they constitute the flag of the city of Funchal, and it was precisely for this purpose that they were planted.
