Madeira island is a portuguese autonomous region. Because that, have a flag that you can see in Quinta Vigia, the official residence of the Madeira island gorvernment president.

"a cruise ship" in the city's 504 anniversary today
Appearances can be deceiving. There is not a ship with a flag at the stern. What you see is a building with a roof recovered following the Madeira tradition. The flag is from the city of Funchal, and belongs to the Natural History Museum of Funchal, a place that should be visited and revisited. Today, the city of Funchal make 504 years.~~~~
As aparências iludem. Não é um navio com uma bandeira na popa. É sim um edifício com a cobertura recuperada seguindo a tradição da ilha da Madeira. A bandeira, da cidade do Funchal, pertence ao Museu de História Natural do Funchal, um espaço que merece ser visitado e revisitado. Hoje, a cidade do Funchal faz 504 anos.
