Uma vista diferente da cidade, a partir do topo do Castanheiro Boutique Hotel. Esta foto mostra, por exemplo, a igreja de São Pedro, em primeiro plano, o Convento de Santa Clara, mais à esquerda, e, lá em cima a Fortaleza do Pico.

view without the crane
This photograph shows buildings of Funchal. And shows more evidence the rooftops of the capital of Madeira. Among all the buildings stands the tower of the cathedral. But it was not only to show this picture I made this photograph one day. The idea was to express my joy at being dismantled over a crane in the city who was cutting the views of the iconic tower of the Cathedral from my home.

Esta fotografia mostra edifícios da cidade do Funchal. E mostra em mais evidência os telhados da capital da ilha da Madeira. Entre todos os edifícios sobressai a torre da catedral. Mas não foi unicamente para mostrar este quadro que fiz esta fotografia um dia destes. A ideia foi manifestar a minha alegria por ter sido desmontada mais uma grua na cidade que vinha cortando a vista para a emblemática torre da Sé a partir da minha casa.

O hotel Porto Mare tem uma das mais bonitas áreas de jardins e de piscinas da cidade, e, num dos extremos, tem estes miradouros, de onde se pode ver o grande jardim público que o hotel tem ao seu cuidado e ainda o mar que está logo à frente
