Portugal flag and Madeira flag
Two flags in an official building. The green an red it's from Portugal, my country. And the other one, blue and yellow, it's from Madeira Autonomous Region, where I live. Normaly, they put the flags on weekends and public holidays. ~~~~ Duas bandeiras hasteadas no edifício oficial. A verde e vermelha é de Portugal, o meu país. E, a outra, azul e amarela, é da Região Autónoma da Madeira, onde resido. Normalmente, são hasteadas aos fins-de-semana e dias feriados ou festivos.
501 years of the Funchal city
Today is the Day of the city of Funchal. It makes 501 years since it was elevated to the rank of city.
Hoje é o Dia da cidade do Funchal. Faz 501 anos desde que foi elevada à categoria de cidade.
