A clean stream
The city of Funchal is crossed by the wood we call "ribeiras". These are small streams that flow into the bay from the capital. In this case, the photo refers to the Ribeira de Santa Luzia, which lies between that of Ribeira de João Gomes, at east, and Ribeira de São João, at west.

A cidade do Funchal é atravessada pelo chamamos na Madeira de "ribeiras". São pequenos cursos de água que desaguam na baía da capital. Neste caso concreto, a foto refere-se à Ribeira de Santa Luzia, a que fica entre a de João Gomes, mais a Leste e a de São João, a oeste.
