quiet in this water garden
Esta fotografia mostra o Clube Naval do Funchal lá ao fundo, e, um pouco mais para cá, a edificação que ainda existe (embora danificada pelo tempo) do cais do carvão, que há décadas abastecia os navios a vapor que cruzavam o oceano.

This photograph shows the Funchal Naval Club there in the background, and a little more here, the building that still exists (although damaged by time) coal pier, which for decades has supplied the steamships that crossed the ocean.
