gardens in a palace
Gardens to the south of the Palace of São Lourenço, a monument built in the sixteenth century that is now headquarters of the army and the official residence of the representative of the Portuguese Republic in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
I think it can be used for other purposes, although a part of the building is open to visitors.

What a beautiful place...I love traveling via the web to other countries, states and towns, you are lucky to live where you do.

What an austere looking place.

ReplyDeleteIt's so lush a garden! Do you happen to know what variety of trees are they?
