bad weather
Two days ago I put a photo of the Pelourinho. Today I put again another one of the same place that I taken yesterday, a day when it rained with great intensity in the city of Funchal and all island. What was once a pleasant place yesterday was full of water, as can be seen.
Unfortunately, bad weather on the island caused deaths and many wounded, and heavy damage.

That's an amazing photograph... I have seen the flooding on the news and I am glad that you are OK. Take care. Hope your beautiful island recovers quickly.
ReplyDeleteThere are some problems in Funchal and in Madeira island. But the images sometimes are very concentrated and don't show that most things are perfect. I'm journalist and I now well that unfortenately bad news are good news, even though I try to value the opposite.
ReplyDeleteIn a few days everything is normal throughout the island.
Thanks again for your attention.
Paulo - we are praying for you and yours and the people of your island!

ReplyDeleteI hope, the people of Funchal will overcome these difficulties of the thunderstorm. I saw the picture on TV and I was consternated.
