Message from the Mayor of Funchal

Mensagem do presidente

Message from the Mayor of Funchal
Funchal is only the Funchal we know thanks to its mosaic of images. There are plenty of cities around the world that are not photogenic. Ours, on the contrary, lives for the way people see it, and the way that people record it and take her away in their memory.
In all its years of existence, Funchal Daily Photo has been the silent and resilient keeper of the Funchal brand, who for those who come from across the sea, encapsulates to perfection, in an infinity of shots, all of Funchal’s mystic that can’t be put to words.
To Paulo Camacho, my most sincere regards, on my behalf and on the behalf of the City Hall of Funchal, for such a beautiful legacy, and for this priceless mission of perpetuating Funchal in the minds of all of those who hold it dearly.

Paulo Cafôfo, the Mayor of Funchal
