A year ago I put the first photo in this photoblog. The picture was similar to this, about the Madeira Wine company and some of its brands on the wall. After a year I wanted to repeat the frame. With an up-grade, took the chimney of the old factory Hinton, processing sugar cane into sugar, to symbolize a birthday candle of one year.

One year.
What began in a timid, driven by a friend, grew with the notion of visibility around the world. Daily Photo Funchal quickly stands out as a unique platform to display a cosmopolitan city with a different content of the images that capture thousands of tourists every day in his visits to the island's capital and all Madeira island.
I can only thank those who have encouraged followers to follow the course outlined, and, not least, also the accompanying continuously with his comments, which I am proud. At the time of this writing, short story with 134 followers and no one with numbers of others who are not following but also put the photos every day.
At a later stage this year, creating a fan page on Facebook with the same name as the photoblog, the number of people who like the work took an even more stimulating. A sharp rise until the time of writing, short story with 2,100 fans. More proof that going in the right direction. Your comments are a tonic.
To all these, those who join the day-to-day in the street, praising the work.

So to you who read these words that most likely fits into that evening I describe, I can only thank and express my willingness to continue the path.

Há um ano coloquei a primeira fotografia neste fotoblogue. A imagem era semelhante a esta, referente à Madeira Wine e a algumas das suas marcas. Passado um ano quis repetir o enquadramento. Com um up-grade, aproveitei a chaminé da antiga fábrica Hinton, de transformação de cana de açúcar em açúcar, para simbolizar uma vela de aniversário de um ano.

Um ano. O que começou de forma tímida, impulsionado por um amigo, foi crescendo com a noção da sua visibilidade em todo o mundo. Funchal Daily Photo depressa se assume como uma plataforma privilegiada para mostrar uma cidade cosmopolita, com um conteúdo diferente das imagens que milhares de turistas captam diariamente nas suas visitas à capital da ilha e em toda a Madeira.
Não posso deixar de agradecer os Seguidores que encorajaram a seguir o rumo delineado, e, não menos relevante, igualmente aos que acompanham continuamente com os seus comentários que muito me orgulham. Até à altura em que escrevo este texto, conto com 134 Seguidores e com um sem números de outras pessoas que não o são mas que seguem também as fotografias que coloco todos os dias.
Numa fase posterior, já este ano, com a criação de uma página de fãs no Facebook, com o mesmo nome do fotoblogue, o número de pessoas que gostam do trabalho assumiu um patamar ainda mais estimulante. Numa subida galopante, até a hora em que escrevo, conto com 2.100 fãs. Mais uma prova que vou no rumo certo. Os seus comentários são um tónico.
A todos estes, juntam-se aqueles que no dia-a-dia, na rua, elogiam o trabalho.

Por isso, a si que lê estas palavras que, com grande probabilidade se enquadra no que atrás descrevo, só posso agradecer e manifestar a minha disponibilidade para continuar o caminho.

Madeira is celebrating these days to this year's Flower Festival, one of the main events of the island. These images show a little of what happens in the city of Funchal with carpets of flowers and others that are marketed throughout the main promenade of Avenida Arriaga.
