blue square to Diabetes
The City hall of Funchal (pictured) joined the World Diabetes Day which is celebrated on 14 November. Responded positively to the invitation by the International Diabetes Federation and lit the blue one of the main squares of the city, the Município.
The City hall building came blue came last Monday, and the Museum of Sacred Art and the Church of the College too.
I must confess that the first day I saw, after 23 hours, it seemed that he was entering the twilight zone. There was nobody in the street where I walked alone.
However, on Saturday in the World Day that I took the picture, I saw lights of other colors to interfere with the symbolism that was intended to be blue.
In any case, is to increase public awareness in support of a cause that is growing leaven in the world.
The lights were lit up the early morning today.
