The site Funchal Daily Photo is committed to put in each day a different picture of Funchal, the Portuguese capital city of the island of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean. Photograph need not necessarily be of the same day, it may be from another, have weeks and even months or years.

A good photograph, with the dark beach and blue boat drawing the eye down to the little yellow turret on the building. It is interesting that the beach is smooth stones, not sand.
