This is one of the many caves that are along the coast of the island. I got this on board the replica of Colombo's sailing ship Santa Maria when I was returning from my trip to Cabo Girão. This cave is located between Praia Formosa beach and Ponta Gorda Beach, below the promenade, near the Hotel Pestana Grand

Esta é uma das muitas grutas que existem ao longo do litoral da ilha. Obtive esta a bordo da nau Santa Maria, quando estava de regresso da viagem que fiz ao Cabo Girão. Esta gruta fica entre a Praia Formosa e a Ponta Gorda, abaixo da promenade, perto do hotel Pestana Grand
